A University of Windsor researcher is developing a standardized assessment tool to identify survivors or potential human trafficking victims for frontline workers.
Dr. Sung Hyun Yun with the University of Windsor’s school of social work said that identifying victims of human trafficking is difficult due to what he calls the “clandestine nature” of the industry.
Yun is collecting data on the subject through an online survey, which takes between 20 and 25 minutes to complete.
